From The Bible we know that God (the Lord, I am) created the universe, our planet with all living beings and all plants on it. “And that is how the universe was created. [ The Garden of Eden ] When the Lord God made the universe,” (Genesis 2:3-5 ). We also know that He is almighty “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am the Almighty God. Obey me and always do what is right.” (Genesis 17:1-3 ) and Holy “The people must consider the priest holy, because he presents the food offerings to me. I am the Lord; I am holy and I make my people holy.” (Leviticus 21:7-9 ). We also know from The Bible that he is the only God that is faithful and loves you. “Remember that the Lord your God is the only God and that he is faithful. He will keep his covenant and show his constant love to a thousand generations of those who love him and obey his commands,” (Deuteronomy 7:8-10 ). The human being created by God are discribed as having an ego and a self. Her goal is to diminish the ego and develop or expand her self to be god. I is a process in which she is transformed from being an individual to become one with all. That is the great moment when she can say that she is united with all universe to be one with God and to be God. From my personal point of view based on my own experience and studies I think there are reasons to question this expression I am God. First it might be comprehended as a provokation by those who believe in The Bible since they have a strong faith. Appearently the expression here seems to lack enough respect and understanding in this context. Secondly the statement seems to lack a logical linguistic defence or explanation. To say you are God you are identifying yourself with a spiritual beeing who is, due to what is said here above, a creator of all, almighty, holy, faithful and who show his love to thousends generations. At the same time we have to admit that the developing or expanding process of ours is always an ongoing process never ending. In stating that we just have to realise that we can`t identify us with God who is the true creator of all and is almighty and holy. So what do we mean then stating that we are God in the end of our expanding process or elevation? We could say however that our spirit is uniting with all and that is God, we are just one. But stating that you really ARE God is to identify yourself with God wich is impossible seen from a logical and linguistic perspective. You are still developing or expanding but God is not since He/She does not need to being almighty. We could here on the other hand talk about being like God or being a part of God but never identifying with God himiself (herself). The misunderstanding here or the misinterpretation can be seen from the fact that we lack equivalent and enough concepts to define what is a man and how can we describe the process in more understandable way than just talk about developing and expanding your self here at the same time you will let go of your ego? One possible way is to investigate some attempts made to explain the human nature and in what way you can develop or expand the human mind. I will take one example from dr. Rudlof Steiner and his book about the knowlodge of man (Allgemeine Menschenkunde als Grundlage der Pädagogik). In his description of man he is starting with the physical body, the ether body and the astral body. After that he is naming the so called bodies of the soul as sensible-, comprehend- and counscious soul. And highest in the hierarchie there is the spirit self, the life spirit and the spirit of man that all together could be compared with the I AM in The Bible (this is a translation made from the Swedish language). The main purpuse is here to show how one can use an already existing system defining the human being in order to make I easier to understand the process of developing or expanding from an ego being to a self being so to speak. To summon up we can here as lightworkers make a common announcement expressing our good will and love to expand (develop) our selves into a state of godly oneness where we belong to God in a feeling of being God himself. I can comprehend that as an important mission in the nearest future to facilitate that process also for our neighbours by using an instrument to make that process easier to understand and to maintain. I so doing we ask for love, light and blessings on our way to fullfill that intention in accorance with the will of God and his son Jesus Christ. Amen.
